It is the search for permanence, the search for something to rely on, security? It is that tendency, that habitual search, is what is the cause of my grief. <br /><br />I'm holding on to this idea that security can be found here - and as soon as security (relationships - parental friend or foe, jobs, income, success, fame etc etc) is found we think it stays forever but everything changes.
